This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Pasadena is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pasadena follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This is definitely a hot new spot for delicious seafood and then some. The place is really spacious and they were really friendly when we walked in. We ordered the Combo B that came with four choices of seafood plus all the other good stuff that comes with it like potatoes and corn. We chose the garlic lemon butter as our sauce and it didn’t disappoint with its flavor. I also like that they have a complimentary cold bar when you order a certain amount. Oh yeah and I mustn’t forget the dessert bar too. We were pleased with everything and our first time was a positive experience. So if you’re ever in the area looking for seafood with Chinese food to then definitely check this place out.

Wow, this restaurant offers a unique mix of Chinese cuisine and American-style seafood! One of the highlights is the complimentary cold dish bar for dine-in customers, with more than 20 different options to choose from. There’s something for everyone, making it a great place to bring the whole family. The spacious setting and wide variety of dishes also make it a perfect spot for family gatherings and group meals.

My favorite spot in town for Cajun seafood plus a variety of ayce cold dishes, all freshly made daily by the owner, who’s been in the restaurant industry for decades. Their seafood and crawfish are amazing and not overly seasoned, the portion is good too, enough to feed the hungry crowd. I love their duck and peppercorn chicken, so yummy! This is definitely a place I’d keep coming back to.

Heard so many people recommend this place before coming to Pasadena, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The highlight is definitely the self-serve braised snack bar — and yes, it’s FREE. Peanuts, cold dishes, braised meats, desserts, sweet soups… over 20 items and all surprisingly good. Honestly felt like the owner might go broke from how much people can eat 😂 We came as a family with kids and grandparents, and it turned out to be perfect for all ages. We ordered the seafood boil combo for four, where you can choose four types of seafood. It also comes with corn, broccoli, potatoes, eggs, and three appetizers. Combined with the free snack bar, it’s incredible value — around $20 per person and we were completely stuffed. We chose the lemon garlic butter flavor, and everything was fresh, juicy, and well-seasoned. They even provide tools for cracking snow crab legs, which made it super easy to enjoy. Besides the seafood boil, their Chinese dishes are also amazing: - The spicy crawfish was very clean, large in size, and full of flavor. We ordered mild spicy and it was perfect. - The crispy tea-smoked duck was outstanding — rich but not greasy, with a subtle tea aroma that bal

Crab Grabber totally exceeded my expectations. I came in just craving some seafood, but ended up having a top-tier dining experience. The seafood boil was rich, flavorful, and cooked just right — not overdone at all. You can really tell they care about quality here. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for hanging out with friends. Plus, the portions are huge, so it’s great value for the price. Highly recommend if you’re a seafood lover!
